The 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰 took effect on January 1, 2026, followed by the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐰, which took effect on July 1, 2026. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟑𝟑𝟎/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔/𝐍𝐃-𝐂𝐏 also introduces administrative penalties for violations in cybersecurity and personal data protection, raising the importance of data governance for businesses. At 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝟎𝟑, organized by VNPT Cyber Immunity, legal and cybersecurity experts discussed how businesses can navigate these requirements and move from passive compliance toward proactive data protection.
