On September 17, 𝐕𝐍𝐏𝐓-𝐈𝐓 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐔𝐬 with 𝐍𝐓𝐓 𝐞-𝐌𝐎𝐈, 𝐍𝐢𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦, and 𝐍𝐓𝐓 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, marking a new step in Vietnam-Japan cooperation in digital agriculture. The collaboration brings together VNPT-IT’s digital capabilities with Japanese expertise in agricultural technology, production, quality management, and market requirements. What makes this cooperation particularly meaningful is the focus on 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧: - VNPT Green and solutions for 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐈𝐨𝐓 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 can help build data continuity from production areas to finished products - Digital services such as 𝐞-𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐞-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞-𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 can further support the digitalization of agricultural transactions. - 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲. Prior to the MoU signing, the parties had conducted field visits to production areas and farms in Vietnam and explored the potential of products such as 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐝-𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭, 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭. With NTT Agritechnology bringing experience in smart greenhouses, precision agriculture, and digital farming, Niinuma Tomofarm contributing experience in Japanese-standard agricultural production in Vietnam, and NTT e-MOI providing technology consulting and integration capabilities, the partnership brings complementary strengths together. The next step is to develop practical models, strengthen production areas, improving management processes, and turn technology cooperation into concrete commercial opportunities.
